LearnerPal is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity and security of student, teacher and staff data, consistent with the provisions of New York Education Law 2-d.
• January 13, 2020: the New York State Board of Regents approved changes to the regulations in New York Education Law 2-d.
• January 29, 2020: the new regulations went into effect.
• July 1, 2020: New York State school districts have until this date to adopt and publish a data security and privacy policy in compliance with the new regulations.
LearnerPal is committed to working diligently to ensure our practices are in alignment with the finalized provisions of New York Education Law 2-d. Upon request, LearnerPal will append a Parents’ Bill of Rights to our agreement with any New York State school district. New York State district administrators should reach out to LearnerPal sales to add a Parents’ Bill of Rights to their Clever agreement.

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
Policy for children under 18 our learning services are provided by subscription to schools, school districts, or purchase through the website. Our services are not available to children under age 18 except when they are enrolled for access as an authorized user by their teacher or other school administrator who has been authorized to do so by the students parent or guardian. Children under 18 years of age are expressly prohibited from directly registering for any of our services unless authorized by a parent or guardian. We do not use any information about children under 18 years of age for any marketing or promotional purposes whatsoever, either inside or outside LearnerPal. We do not provide any personally identifiable information about children, regardless of its source, to any unrelated third parties, except as expressly provided by this Privacy Policy.
